What is EpicEmployee? How do I access it?

EpicEmployee is your home for employee resources and news. Use it to receive messages about local events, learn about your perks and benefits, access key resources and more.

You can access EpicEmployee from a computer, tablet or phone via a mobile-responsive website: EpicEmployee.VailResorts.com.

Or, you can download the app - while on your mobile device, click to download the Apple app or download the Google app. It looks and functions the same way regardless of how you access, and you have multiple options.

(Apple users: you must click the link above from your mobile device to download the app. Since the app is exclusively for our employees, you cannot find it by searching the app store.)

 

Logging In

To access the Employee Login, you must first agree to the terms and conditions. You will be prompted to sign the terms and conditions when completing your Final Onboarding Forms. If you did not sign the terms and conditions at that time, you can do so now by following these steps:

  1. Go to Required Notices in Direct Connect: Take Action

  2. Select EpicEmployee Terms

  3. Review and click the electronic signature at the bottom of the page, then click submit. (You will know your submission went through when you see the date populate next to your employee name and ID and the submit button becomes grayed out.)

Once you hit submit to complete this step, you will gain access to EpicEmployee within three hours. Once three hours have passed, visit EpicEmployee again and log in using your Vail Resorts User ID. To access the employee login:

  1. Click the hamburger menu (three lines) in the top right corner of the screen

  2. Choose Return to Login

  3. Click the Employee Login tile

  4. Log in with your Vail Resorts User ID

  5. Select your location

  6. You're now at your employee home page!

Although EpicEmployee enhances convenience, work functions are still intended to be performed at your job location during actual work hours. Please review existing company policies regarding, among others, time worked, the requirements of off the clock work, and meal and rest periods, which can be found here. When using EpicEmployee on a mobile device, please use Wi-Fi networks whenever possible and adhere to the company’s information security policies.
