What if I already bought an Epic Pass and I just got hired?

  • If you purchased an Epic Pass before being hired, you can receive a refund. For a full refund, the refund must be processed before December 31. Once you are active in the system, stop by any resort ticket window.

Do I get an Employee Pass?

  • Yes! Ski and Snowboard School employees get a free Employee Pass good at any North American Resort.

What happens to my season pass once I’m done working for the season?

  • If you have met your commitment and received an Achieves or higher on your end of season evaluation, and plan on returning next season, you will be placed on SIS (Seasonal Inactive Status), and your pass will be active until the end of the season.  Your employee pass will also be good for many benefits through the summer as well. 

  • Upon termination of employment or a non-SIS separation, your pass, your dependent’ passes and your comp/discount coupons will be deactivated.

Are there family or friend discounts?

  • Dependent passes and coupons are available for some employees depending on your work commitment (Full Time or Part Time), and years of service.

What is a typical work day?

  • If you are working in kids full day programs, you are generally compensated from 8:15-3:30 for 7.25 hours.

  • The Professional Ski Instructors of America – American Association of Snowboard Instructors (PSIA/AASI) is a nonprofit education association dedicated to promoting the sports of skiing and snowboarding through instruction. With more than 31,500 members, PSIA-AASI establishes certification standards for snow-sports instructors and develops education materials to be used as the core components of instructor training. Our regional division is PSIA/AASI - E.

What if I can’t make it in to work?

We hope that you stay healthy all season long, but in the event that you are not able to work, please contact us by phone as early as possible. You will need to call the number below and leave a clear message with your full name and reason for being unable to work. Please do not call your supervisor/manager directly; this number is the best way for us to receive your message.
